Folks, this’n is in the “Compact” section because it has a compact slide. That slide, however, sits atop a frame with a full-size grip.
Why a full-size grip with a compact slide, you ask? Good question. The full-size grip allows the use of Glock 17 sized magazines, giving you 2 more rounds in your EDC. Also, the full-size grip gives more and better purchase to those with larger hands. Overall, it’s a good thing but does make concealed carry a bit more challenging.
